By striving for continuous improvement of processes and staying one step ahead of the competition, the German industry has long focused on the use of Lean tools.
Since 2005, there has been an increasing demand for suitable materials and hardware that can help improve production processes. Companies specializing in the development and production of such materials have decided to share their knowledge and information with each other. They want to learn from each other and complement each other to better serve their customers. This collaboration led to the establishment of the Lean Factory Group.
All companies within the Lean Factory Group aim to help their customers streamline their processes, enabling them to work more efficiently and save costs, which results in a stronger competitive position.
The group now consists of 12 partners offering expertise, hardware, and software that can successfully introduce Lean structures into any business.
In the training centers, a mixed-model production line has been set up for the manufacturing of various products. The simulation includes pre-production, production, and supplier integration. Here you can experience the applications of Lean tools firsthand. In lectures, the theory is explained, and in the simulation line, you will experience why applying the theory in practice is so valuable.
